Univision is insensitive, Telemundo is trying hard and MundoFox will blow everyone away.

I just struggled reading an article by Stephanie Da Costa – Media Director a Wing in Miami titled “Spanish-language Television Upfront And Fall Season Discourse” in MediaPost.

My first impression from reading the article is that Univision is insensitive for not changing their programming annually, Telemundo is trying hard and MundoFox will blow everyone away.

Univision announces Fall 2012 Schedule.

Univision Network announced its fall line-up, including the return of the wildly popular “¡Mira Quien Baila!” (Look Who’s Dancing!). In its third season on Sundays, “MQB” will air a three-hour premiere on September 9 from 8 to 11 p.m. ET/PT, followed by season three of entertainment magazine show “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) at 10 p.m starting on September 16. Univision will also broadcast 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ qualifier matches, including Mexico vs. Costa Rica on September 11, and Mexico vs. El Salvador on October 16. Weekends on Univision will continue to be the home of exciting variety and reality entertainment including the 50th anniversary celebration of “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) on October 27.

Turner named President of Ad Sales & Marketing at Univision.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that Keith Turner has been named president of Advertising Sales and Marketing for Univision Communications, effective September 4, 2012.
